Venky Mama Movie Review

Victory Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya are teaming up for the first time with Venky Mama. KS Ravindra (Bobby) directed this emotional family entertainer and Payal Rajput, Rashi Khanna are the leading ladies. Venky Mama is carrying decent expectations and S Thaman composed the music. Suresh Productions and People Media Factory produced Venky Mama which released across the globe today. Here is the complete review of Venky Mama:

Venkatratnam Naidu (Venkatesh) is a responsible person in his village and he raises his nephew Karthik (Naga Chaitanya) after Karthik’s parents get killed in an accident. Venky’s father Rama Narayana (Nassar) is much bothered about superstitions and he tries hard to separate Venky and Karthik. When things are extremely good, Karthik leaves home and joins the Indian Army. The rest of Venky Mama is all about how Venky reaches Kashmir and finds his nephew. The film also has two parallel love tracks with Vennela (Payal Rajput) and Haarika (Rashi Khanna). Watch Venky Mama to know about the complete story.

The bonding between Venky and Chaitu
Entertainment at times
Production Values

Second Half
Boring and predictable narration
Most of the entertainment is outdated

Venkatesh is on a roll after F2 and he excels once again with his comic timing. He is the major highlight of the film and dominated completely. Naga Chaitanya has been a huge support and he did his role well. The bonding between Venky and Chaitu is shown well. Payal Rajput looked decent and glamorous in the assignment. Rashi Khanna looked cute and did her role well. Nassar has an important role and he did it with perfection. All the other actors have been decent and well fit in their roles.

Venky Mama has an interesting plot. But the screenplay and dialogues should have been better. They make no impact on the screen. The narration looks old fashioned. The music was just ok and the background score was convincing. The cinematography work stands out in the entire film. The editing must have been better and the production values are grand and good. KS Ravindra should have handled the film better.

Venky Mama fails to live up the expectations. Venky and Chaitu top the show but this alone cannot save the film.
