After back to back hits, Vijay Devarakonda inked a three-film deal with top production house Mythri Movie Makers. The first film Dear Comrade ended up as a dud after which things changed. He started shooting for the second project titled Hero. After the makers spent Rs 10 crores on the film, Vijay Devarakonda was not happy with the output and kept the project on hold. Anand Annamalai is the director of this action thriller.
Vijay Devarakonda now convinced the makers to scrap the project. He promised to bear the losses and also signed one more film for Mythri Movie Makers. He asked the makers to find the right director and script to start the project soon. Vijay Devarakonda is now busy with the shoot of Fighter directed by Puri Jagannadh. Ananya Pandey is the leading lady and Vijay Devarakonda plays a boxer in this action drama.
