Sharwanand and Samantha stepped into the shoes of 96 remake. The film released as Jaanu and leaving everyone in surprise, the film got the best reviews in the recent times. The film’s producer Dil Raju is quite confident on the product and he promoted the film widely. After Jaanu took a decent opening, the film failed to register decent numbers over the weekend.
The occupancies across the multiplexes was decent but the numbers are quite low across B, C centres. Jaanu will end up as a flop in its final run and it is quite tough to touch Rs 10 crore mark. The worldwide first weekend numbers of Jaanu are said to be close to Rs 6 crores. Prem Kumar is the director and Govind Vasantha composed the music. Sharwanand and Samantha’s performances received top class response from the audience.
