Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja tasted three back to back disasters in a row and he has all his hopes on Disco Raja. Trade circles along with the audience were not much interested in the film even after the teasers received top class response. Disco Raja is said to be a sci-fi thriller that is made on a budget of Rs 40 crores. The film has been under shoot for a year and it finally released during the Republic Day weekend.
Disco Raja has been badly rejected by the audience that the film remained low even during the weekend. Disco Raja collected a theatrical share of Rs 7.48 crores in its first week worldwide which is low. The theatrical rights of the film are sold for Rs 20 crores and the film failed to recover even half of the investments. S Thaman composed the music and Ram Talluri’s SRT Entertainments are the producers. Here are the first week collections of Disco Raja:
