Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja pinned many hopes on Disco Raja and he sounded extremely confident about the success of Disco Raja. The film directed by VI Anand is named as the costliest film in Ravi Teja’s career till date. Payal Rajput, Nabha Natesh and Tanya Hope played the female leads. Disco Raja released across the globe on Friday and the response has been quite poor. The film even registered low numbers over the weekend and will end up as one more disappointment in Ravi Teja’s career.
Disco Raja collected a theatrical share of Rs 6.76 crores in its opening weekend across the globe. The film’s theatrical rights are sold for Rs 18 crores and Disco Raja will end up as a huge loss. Ravi Teja will have to wait for one more film to make his comeback. S Thaman composed the music and Ram Talluri’s SRT Entertainments are the producers.
