Kannada film KGF ended up as a smashing hit in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages along with Kannada. The film directed by Prashanth Neel turned out to be the talk of the country and the sequel for the film is already under shoot. The film is titled KGF: Chapter 2 and is made on a massive budget. The film features Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles and the makers initially announced that the film will release during summer.
But the latest update from the movie unit says that the shoot of the film is yet to be completed and KGF: Chapter 2 will not release during summer. There are speculations that KGF: Chapter 2 will hit the screens in August during the Independence Day weekend. An official announcement will be made by the makers once the shoot of KGF: Chapter 2 will be wrapped up. Kannada production house Hombale Films are the producers.
