Supreme Star Sai Dharam Tej’s brother Vaisshnav Tej is making his debut as the lead actor with a village-based romantic entertainer titled Uppena. The film marks the directorial debut of Buchi Babu and the entire shoot of te film got wrapped up. Krithi Shetty is the leading lady and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen essaying the role of the lead antagonist.
The makers unveiled the first look poster of Uppena today. Vaisshnav Tej looks simple in the water and roars loud in the released first look poster. Devi Sri Prasad composes the music and Uppena is made on a budget of Rs 20 crores. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers and the film is slated for April 2nd release.
