Young actor Karthikeya has been struggling to prove his mettle after the super success of RX 100. The actor’s recent offering 90 ML trailer made enough noise and is the costliest film made in his career. Sekhar Reddy directed the film and Karthikeya, Neha Solanki, Rao Ramesh played the lead roles. Karthikeya Creative Works produced 90 ML and the film released across the globe today. Here is the complete review of the film:
Story:
90 ML is the story of Devadas (Karthikeya) who is born with a special syndrome of alcohol. He needs to take 90 ML of liquor thrice a day to survive and stay healthy. He falls in love with Suvasana (Neha Solanki) who is against alcohol. The film takes a new turn in the form of a goon John Wick (Ravi Kishan) after which their love story takes an ugly turn. The rest of the film is all about how Devadas overcomes all the problems winning his love. Watch 90 ML to know about the rest.
Positives:
Karthikeya
Entertainment in parts
Major Plot
Production Values
Negatives:
Poor writing and execution
Second half
Songs
Editing
Performances:
Karthikeya improved a lot and he excels in all the available ways. Right from his dance moves to his performance, everything looks perfect. Neha Solanki delivers a decent performance and her looks are pretty average. Rao Ramesh is a treat as usual and he is one of the major highlights of the film. Pragathi has a decent role assigned. Baahubali Prabhakar, Adurs Raghu and Roll Rida have comic roles assigned and they did well. Ravi Kishan has a decent role and he performed well. All the other actors have been decent.
90 ML has an interesting plot but the narrations spoil the film. 90 ML flow gets spoiled because of the two many songs and unwanted entertainment. The seriousness of the plot gets diluted. After a decent first half, the second half of 90 ML falls flat. The cinematography and production values have been decent. The music and background score are below the mark. The editing should have been better. Sekhar Reddy fails badly in executing an interesting plot.
Verdict:
90 ML falls flat because of poor writing and execution. Karthikeya shines well in all the available ways.
