Megastar Chiranjeevi pinned many hopes on Syeraa, a periodic drama that is based on the life story of freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy. Surendar Reddy directed this big budget film and the film raked massive revenues during the festival season. Nayanthara is the leading lady and Amitabh Bachchan, Anushka, Jagapathi Babu, Tamannaah, Vijay Sethupathi and Kicha Sudeep will be seen in other crucial roles.
