Victory Venkatesh is one of the universal actors who has done clean and entertaining films in his career. His brother Suresh Babu was thoroughly impressed with the Bollywood film De De Pyar De and acquired the remake rights of the film for a hefty price. He wanted Venkatesh to play the lead role and Sriwass was on board as the director. Now the latest news is that Venky decided not to feature in the film.
Though he loved the original, Venky felt that it would turn out to be a dent for his image because of the adult content. Recently Nagarjuna was criticized for his work in Manmadhudu 2. Suresh Babu is in plans to find the right actor to reprise the role of Ajay Devgn or shelve the film. Venkatesh is currently busy with Venky Mama which is releasing during Diwali. Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya are the lead actors.
