Thanks to Baahubali, Prabhas is now a pan Indian actor. The actor took two years and tested his luck with Saaho which released recently. Falling short of the expectations, Saaho ended up as a dud but the film managed to mint money. In Hindi the film grossed Rs 150 crores. The film is made on a budget of Rs 350 crores and the makers pocketed huge through the theatrical, satellite and digital deals.
As per the update from a source, Prabhas took home Rs 70 crores as remuneration for the movie. The actor decided to share the profits and took Rs 70 crores which makes him the highest paid South Indian actor. He is currently on a break and is preparing himself for his next film which is tentatively titled Jaan. Radha Krishna Kumar is the director and the shoot commences in November. Pooja Hegde is the leading lady.
