Natural Star Nani completed shooting fo Jersey which is announced for summer release. Gowtam Tinnanuri is the director and Nani essays the role of a cricketer in this sports drama. Nani soon joined the sets of his next film which is directed by Vikram Kumar. Made on a massive budget of Rs 50 crores, this untitled film will release during the end of this year. Priyanka Arul Mohan has been roped in as the leading lady and young actor Karthikeya will be seen in a crucial role.
As per the speculation, Rakul Preet Singh has been approached to shake leg with Nani in a special song in this romantic drama. Vikram Kumar and Nani felt that Rakul can do justice for the song with her sizzling presence and approached her. Anirudh is the music composer and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers.
