Natural Star Nani is turning cricketer with his next film Jersey which is a sports drama that is currently under shoot. Gowtam Tinnanuri is the director and Shraddha Srinath is the heroine. The shoot of the film is planned to be completed by the end of February and the makers are in plans to release the film by April this year. Nani plays a cricketer Arjun in this emotional drama which is made on a decent budget.
Nani while shooting for a crucial scene got injured on the sets of the film today. Nani injured his nose and was rushed to a private hospital in the city. The shoot of Jersey has been kept on hold and Nani was advised to take rest for couple of days. The shoot will start once the actor turns fit and Anirudh is the music composer. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is producing Jersey on Sithara Entertainments banner. Jersey is announced for April 19th release.
