Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to test his luck once again with an action drama titled Petta. Karthik Subbaraj is the director and the film has been announced for January 10th release across the globe. Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi, Simran, Trisha, Bobby Simha, Sasikumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Megha Akash played the lead roles in this action drama which is carrying massive expectations.
A close source from the movie unit clarified that the film has been inspired from Rajinikanth’s past super hit film Basha. Rajinikanth plays a mafia don and essays a new avatar after losing his family. The rest of Petta is all about the revenge drama that he takes on the lead antagonist. Petta’s trailer impressed the audience big time and Anirudh Ravichander composed the music. Sun Pictures produced Petta and the film releases across the world in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada languages.
