2.0 opened with a bang all over but the opening day collections failed to beat some of the biggest Indian movies all over. 2.0 is the biggest release for any Indian film and it released in 6800 screens across the country. The film even released in 800 screens through premieres alone in USA but the film failed to beat Baahubali: The Conclusion through premieres. 2.0 released in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages.
Baahubali 2 collected a whopping amount of 3.5 million USD through premieres but 2.0 failed to reach near. The makers and the buyers did not announce the premiere show collections as they have been low. In India too, despite of a wide release, 2.0 failed to cross Baahubali: The Conclusion numbers. Shankar is the director and Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar are the lead actors. Lyca Productions bankrolled 2.0.
