Akhil’s second film Hello received decent response but the film could not stand before the wave of Nani and Sai Pallavi starrer MCA. Now exactly after a year, the actor wanted to release his third film Mr Majnu on which he pinned all his hopes. With the announcement of films like Padi Padi Leche Manasu and Yatra, Mr Majnu has now been pushed for Republic Day weekend release. Now he has a new threat in the form of Nandamuri Balakrishna.
Balakrishna’s NTR biopic has been announced in two parts and the second installment NTR – Mahanayakudu will release on January 24th 2019 during the Republic Day weekend. The makers of Akhil’s Mr Majnu are now left in shock with the announcement and are now in hunt for a new release date. The team of Mr Majnu felt that it is not a good decision to clash with NTR biopic which is carrying mighty expectations. An official release date of Mr Majnu will be out soon.
