Superstar Rajinikanth is disappointed with the result of his recent outing Kaala. The movie failed to impress the audience and has been declared as a disaster in Telugu. He pinned all his hopes on his next film 2.0 which completed shoot recently. Shankar is the director of the movie and Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson played the lead roles. Akshay Kumar played the lead antagonist in the action entertainer which has been delayed due to the VFX work.
The latest update says that 2.0 will not release this year and the makers are keen on releasing the film during the Republic Day weekend in January 2019. The film will clash with Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 which will release during the same weekend. An official announcement will be made once the VFX work will be wrapped up. Lyca Productions produced 2.0 and the film will release in all the Indian languages in 3D.
