In a surprising move, Nandamuri Balakrishna gave his nod for KS Ravikumar who directed Jai Simha with him last year. This left Boyapati in waiting mode and Balakrishna wanted this project to be wrapped up in quick schedules. The pre-production work is in final stages and the makers registered the title ‘Ruler’ with the Film Chamber. This is a powerful title for Balakrishna and his fans will be left delighted.
There are speculations that Balakrishna plays a ruthless cop in this mass entertainer. Hari Priya who played one of the heroines in Jai Simha has been picked up for the film and the main heroine is finalized. The regular shoot commences from June and C Kalyan is the producer. The makers are in plans to release Ruler for Sankranthi 2020.
