Sharwanand and Samantha are teaming up for the first time with Jaanu, a romantic and poetic drama that is the remake of Tamil classic 96. Though the duo initially said no for the remake, the producer Dil Raju convinced them and completed the film. Prem Kumar who directed the original directed the film which is gearing up for release this Friday. During the promotions, Sharwanand and Samantha expressed their confidence on the film.
Samantha made an open statement that the film will stand in the top three films in her career for sure. Her fans are quite delighted with the news. Samantha rejected a bunch of films in the recent times and she has all her hopes on Jaanu. The music album is already a smashing hit. Sri Venkateswara Creations are the producers and the film is expected to open with decent occupancy.
