Tamil actor Suriya has been struggling for success and after a series of flops, the actor pinned all his hopes on his next film titled NGK. Selvaraghavan directed this political drama and Sai Pallavi, Rakul Preet Singh are the female leads. NGK released on May 29th across the globe and it received poor response from the Telugu audience. The film is even a huge flop in Tamil and Suriya apologized for the film and he thanked his fans for the support.
NGK collected a theatrical share of Rs 4.53 crores in Telugu states in its final run which is quite low. The Telugu theatrical rights are picked up for a record price of Rs 9 crores and the buyers lost half of their investment.
