Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja needs a big hit to bounce back in Telugu cinema. His next film Disco Raja started rolling recently and the film will release during Dasara this year. The actor has been in talks for the remake of Tamil blockbuster Theri which was kept on hold due to various reasons. Santosh Srinivas was on board to direct the project but the film was kept on hold due to various reasons.
Now the makers decided to revive the project and the regular shoot commences from April. As per the latest update, the makers locked Kanakadurga as the title for this mass entertainer. Catherine Tresa has been roped in as one of the female leads and the other actress yet to be locked. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers. Kanakadurga will release during Christmas this year.
